AIT-GROUP ENTERS INTO SPONSORSHIP WITH BASKETBALL NATIONAL LEAGUE TEAM MEDI BAYREUTH

Passion, team spirit and full commitment for the result - these values are shared by the ait-group from Kasendorf and medi bayreuth. The manufacturer of heat pumps, ventilation and cooling systems is joining Bayreuth's national league basketball team for the coming season.

With the start of the season in September, a new logo will adorn the parquet of the Oberfrankenhalle: the national league basketball players of medi bayreuth are pleased to have the ait-group as their new sponsor.

With the production of innovative heat pumps, the company makes a significant contribution to the provision of environmentally friendly energy and CO2 reduction. With its product brands alpha innotec, NOVELAN and KKT chillers, it has been on a growth course for many years.

"Our drive to always give the best and the passion for what we do connects us with the Bayreuth basketball players," says R&D Director Edgar Timm.

"And of course, just like medi bayreuth, we are deeply rooted in the region and at the same time internationally positioned," adds Managing Director Sjacco van de Sande.

On a growth course for a better climate

The company's expansion plans also show that it has close ties with the region. For example, a new production facility will be built in neighboring Thurnau by the end of 2023, and around 400 new jobs will be created. "The aim of the sponsorship is to give something back to our employees for their daily commitment: from the start of the season, we will regularly raffle home match tickets among our colleagues. Likewise, we want to become better known as an attractive employer in the region," says Managing Director Marco Roßmerkel.

A global player from the region

Johannes Feuerpfeil, Managing Director of medi bayreuth Basketball, is also looking forward to the joint path. "With the ait-group we gain another global player from the region for our sponsor family. The cooperation is a win-win situation for both sides. In addition to the presence in the hall, the ait-group will also be clearly visible on our digital channels."
